- Today we’re beginning a new study. We’ll be looking at the book of Proverbs. Our hope is to find the gospel of Jesus Christ displayed in the book of Proverbs.Why Proverbs?
Well, listen to what it says in the first couple of verses. It says, “These are the Proverbs of Solomon, David’s son, King of Israel. The purpose of these Proverbs is to teach people wisdom and discipline and to help them understand wise sayings. Through these Proverbs people will receive instruction, and discipline, good conduct and doing what is right, just, and fair.
